This plein air work was painted at Bluestem Conservation Cemetery in Hurdle Mills, North Carolina, as part of the "Paint it Orange" event hosted by the Orange County Arts Commission. The composition features a windswept loblolly pine silhouetted against a dramatic sky of blue and billowing clouds, with a brilliant sweep of golden wildflowers cascading across the foreground. Painted on location during this community paint-out, the piece captures the dynamic interplay of native plantings, open sky, and the distinctive character of this conservation landscape.
Printed on archival, heavy-weight paper and includes a 1/4” border on all sides.
At this time, I am not able to offer framing services for prints.
The original piece is available here.
