This studio piece celebrates a magnificent oak tree whose gracefully arching limbs spread over a sun-dappled path in Oregon's Willamette Valley. The composition draws the viewer's eye upward along the tree's powerful trunk and radiating branches, which frame patches of luminous sky, while golden grasses glow in the foreground and filtered light plays across the sandy path.
